Do You Know the Production Process of Container Corner Casting?


    Container corner casting is important stress-bearing part in the container, often subject to stacking, latching and lifting, complex shapes, and are usually formed by casting; to ensure performance requirements, they are heat treated. The traditional heat treatment is to use (930 ℃ × 3h, water quenching +680 ℃, tempering) this process.

    Theoretically speaking, it is difficult to form a uniform structure for low-carbon, low-hardenability container corner fittings. The traditional heat treatment process requires two heat treatments, which consumes a lot of electricity, has a thick oxide layer, and has a large volume processing Production costs are high.

    Simplifying the traditional container corner fitting process into a normalizing treatment will greatly reduce the production cost and create great economic benefits if it can meet the mechanical performance requirements.
